roots of Production
Turning run deep into the former Dayton Walther Corporation, a long time leader in the Heavy Truck Wheel End Component Industry,
headquartered in Dayton, Ohio.
In 2002, several years after the Dayton
Operations were closed, former Dayton Walther employees were given the
opportunity to purchase much of the manufacturing equipment that had been
moved out of state and the 110,000 square foot building that once housed
them. Since then, much effort has been made to reassemble select
talented and experienced people, including machinists, inspectors, repairmen
and management personnel.
Today, with equipment, people and systems
in place, Production Turning is poised
to provide high volume, high quality, and competitively priced wheel end
components to the Heavy Truck Industry. Verification of our progress
occurred in August 2005 when Production Turning was awarded ISO
9001:2000 Quality Certification status.
